ALLEA (All European Academies) – has published a new, revised edition of the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, first published in 2017. As a member of two stakeholder groups (the EU-project SPOs4RI as well as ENRIO), the OEAWI had the opportunity to participate in the revision process.
The new code offers a stronger focus on the role of research culture in providing an appropriate environment for research integrity and reflects higher sensitivity for inclusivity in science. The code also reflects the new EU-wide General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), changes in data management, and recent developments, e.g., related to Open Science, research evaluation and artificial intelligence.
The new code is available in the “Downloads”-section of the OEAWI-website.
